A Happily Ever After

Standing by the staircase,
In a nitid watery gown
Left my glass shoe behind
While hastily walking down.
My bare foot touched the ground
Of the 'Once upon a time' land,
How did I get here?
Did a fairy godmother grab my hand?

Gaining my senses back
I turn to look behind
There's certainly no prince; astonished
Who'd send his men tomorrow, for his princess to find.
Shutting down the fantasy
The reality simpers and breaks into laughter
"You'll always be a fanatic..."
Taking away my non existant 'Happily ever after...'
